Dobey LOVES playing with his toys, running around, getting treats, and hanging out with his people. He is looking for an active home that can take him for lots of adventures, and get him used to meeting new people along the way. Dobey will need a patient home that can help him work on his confidence, as he can be nervous around new people. His ideal home is one with no cats or small children, as he gets very excited and can tend to chase or accidentally knock over little ones. Dobey thinks that every other dog he meets is his best friend, and all he wants to do is play! He will need some continued work with proper introductions to other dogs, as he gets overly excited. Dobey may do well in a home with other well-matched dogs that can keep up with his energy! Here at the shelter, we are working on Dobey's positive reinforcement training, he is doing great with his "sit" command, and is slowly working on more tricks. He is very food motivated (just like your typical lab), and is very eager to please! Once Dobey receives some proper training, he is sure to be your best companion and adventure buddy!
